Mexico Team Football History
Mexico Team was formed by participating in an international match in the early 1920s. The team played the first World Cup in 1930 and ranked at 17. After tons of World Cup, we hosted our first ever World Cup in the 1970s and reached at quarterfinal that year. We are a member of CONCACAF and won more than 11 Gold Cups.
Mexico’s most significant victory was a 9-0 win against Martinique in the 1993 CONCACAF Gold Cup.
Mexico’s youth teams have excelled, winning the FIFA U-17 World Cup in 2005, 2011, and 2013.
